When one of my best friends got engaged and asked me to be her celebrant, it was the last little push I needed. My life had recently changed, I’d become a mum and I was looking for something new, creative and exciting. I’ve always been an extrovert, entertainer, storyteller and one to really enjoy social events, so this… was perfect!

My name is Lou, I’m a civil celebrant who lives in Griffith, NSW with my partner James and daughters Bobbie and Cetta.

I grew up in the North of Sydney and Newcastle. Many people ask how I ended up out here. Two weeks after moving home from London, I came to Goolgowi for a 4 week teaching block… and I’m still here!

I guarantee you and I will have something in common. Whether it be travel, activities, bucket list adventures, movies or embarrassing moments, we’ll be chatting like old mates. Most importantly though, we both want you to have the most amazing wedding day possible. So, if you have something out of the ordinary, float it past me, together, we’ll do our best to make it happen.

Your wedding day is probably the biggest party you’ll ever throw. I’ll highlight you as a couple and make that ceremony so uniquely you, that people leave saying ‘that was so them’ and also ‘how long have you been mates with Lou?’
